Help Player Statistics

I've been trying to put together a list of the key statistics for each position.

At the end of the season I examined what statistics the best players perform well under.

I put together a list of the best performing players and examined which stats they performed best under.

This is the list:

Any ideas on improving the list.

What does the number at the end of each item mean? Is it a count of the amount of players you took the data from?

Firstly I'd say that this is far from scientific.

However this is the process I followed.

Step 1

Set player search conditions:

1. 4 top Lgs - EPL, La Liga, Serie A, & Bundesliga

2. Player position

Step 2

Add every player who has played at least 20 matches to temp shortlist.

Step 3

Add 13 best avr players to best players to shortlist (also keeping them on the temp list).

Step 4

Add all stats columns possibly linked to the position to title bar.

Step 5

Check what stats have at least 6 players in the top 13 rank for the stat and remove any stat which does not have 6 players in the top 13 (very arbitrary but I'm only looking for a general idea).

Step 6

List stats which have at least 6 players and rank by number of players (this is the number at the end of each item).
