CityAndColour
That's crazy, however often if you have a dominant season like that, an AI team will hang onto your coat tails.

Smurf
Records are meant to be broken. Chelsea hold the most points in real life, with 91 points - they were followed by Man Utd at 83 points Arsenal also went undefeated by only got 90 points Point really is - the top 4 teams will have similar results all season to each other. It's the shock draw or sudden loss when they should be winning that separates them. On this occasion a record was broken. If you're beating teams easily then why shouldn't the ai? 1994-95 Season Blackburn Rovers(89), Manchester United(88), Nottingham Forest(77), Liverpool(74) 1997-98 Season Arsenal(78), Manchester United(77), Liverpool(65), Chelsea(63) 1998-99 Season Manchester United(79), Arsenal(78), Chelsea(75), Leeds United(67) 2007-08 Season Manchester United(87), Chelsea(85), Arsenal(83), Liverpool(76) 2009-10 Season Chelsea(86), Manchester United(85), Arsenal(75), Tottenham Hotspur(70)
scott MUFC
the record for most points seems to be 95 in game. but teams getting over 100 is not normal, liverpool got 83 on mine for second.
Smurf
Well Barcelona got 99 points from 38 games in 2009-2010 season - that season Real got 96 points, and Valencia were a close 3rd with 71 points. I agree it's unusual to get more than 100. But as I say, records are meant to be broken. Someday some team will get a perfect point score in the league. Maybe not in the next year, or 5 years or 10 years, or 100 years. But it will happen. All wins for 114 points.
scott MUFC
there were a few post 100 points in the lower leagues though. newcastles promotion from the championship. fulhams promotions etc. but they got more games.
themadsheep2001
In my last save, i needed 100 points with Manchester United. Manchester City were relentless from the start. I finished just one point ahead.
