Apple store Genius bar - Freudion slip today...?

I've always not bothered registering on here but have been a daily guest checker waiting for news of the release date of Fm2012 for ios...

Well, a little trip to apple genius bar earlier today with a dodgy iPhone 4 home button gave me more than expected!!

Whilst chatting to the Genius And shortly after him telling me my iPhone is out of warranty and was water damaged anyway we got chatting about FM2012 (two geeky looking, mid 20's males both iPhone addicts - bound to happen eventually)

He told me that as part of his training he decided to specialise in apps... And naturally this gave him the oppourtunity to see the Apple side of app submissions / rejections and releases... Well, he had an interesting piece of news around Fm2012 but swore me to secrecy... But I was looking for clarification from the Developers here to back up his story...

Marc Vaughan, Bertie Bg, Paul Hecker, David Milmine and co.. Maybe even the testers would know.. Alari..?

- Would it be fair to say that although the release date was always planned for what you have set for ios, you where not expecting the "extra" work?

On a separate yet totally related note, really looking forward to the game for my iPad and iPhone.. I'm sure another few rounds of infinity blade will keep me busy untill it's on the app store! Been playing at a mates on PC.. Loving the addition of tone for team talks etc! Will this feature be in ios? Got to 6th game in with Brighton and Hove albion..6 straight losses with the whole team hating my heavy training workload and the fact I always Speak with an aggressive tone!

I find it very unbelievable that someone with one post has a very long story where he manages to aquire dates. I also doubt the genius guys at Apple who have no input into apps or the app store would get told dates.

Hey, call me a sceptic though.

Hence why I was asking for developer clarification!!!

I doubt even if you say the correct date you will get told though. Plus they know a rough date but actually with Apple submission it is impossible to judge a date and SI only know a day before it goes live (Marc gets an Email).
