Should teams recrute managers from other teams in the middle of the season ?

I noticed that quite often teams , when they sack they own manager in the middle of the season, they tend to choose a manager already working for another team.

But IRL, teams often tend to hire managers not currently working. It's quite rare (from what i see anyway) that managers quit their team in the middle of the season and go coach another one (even more so if in the same championship !). It happens, but it's more an exception than a standart rule.

I think clubs sacking their manager during the season should more often hire free managers. Probably hire a coach til the end of the season and then look for a coach that fits their needs & expectations. If it's almost the end of the season, the assistant manager could take over the team, and at then, the owners would look for a coach for next season.

Maybe i'm wrong, but that's my feeling on how it should be in FM.

What do you guys think ?

PS: sorry if the subject has already been raised, I didn't spend too much time looking on this one :s
