Injury Length Different!!??

Anyone know what is going on here, on the players Injury History screen it shows he's out for only 5 weeks but on his Attributes screen it says he's out for 6-7 months.

Its not a new injury as there is no news item about it.

I cannot see the screen shots properly(bad eyes) but I always thought a current injury was not shown on the players injury history until the player had recovered.

Think that may be true but the 5 week injury was picked up on the 29th of May so he would fully recover on the 3rd of July, which is incidentally the date I am at. Plus the highlighted injury in each screenshot is the same type, Damaged Cruciate Ligaments.

Seems strange that a player would be out for 5 weeks with cruciate ligament damage.

The injury history basically counts up until the player recovers from what I've seen, so if a player breaks his leg and he's only been out for a week so far his injury history shows Broken Leg - 1 week.
