Keep getting "match preperation" email

For some reason, before every game, I get a "match preparation reminder." This happens for about 3 days before every game. This was not happening in another save I was playing, so I am not sure what it is trying to tell me. It happens both when I have the ass-man doing preparation or not. I have everything set up, so I am not sure what is triggering this. Any ideas?

I think it depends on your assistant. I signed Mauro Tossati on that free agent db and I would get that message almost every day if not every single day. Annoying to say the least. In my other saves I hardly get them at all. I always have it set to leave it to the ass man.

I've had this happen as well.. doesn't seem to happen with every AM though.

Sometimes it's not even the ass man who sends those messages. I had a coach demanding (actually worded that way as well) focus on match preparation every single week despite everything being set up the way he expected it to. Now he's stopped doing it for reasons unknown to me. Seems a rather strange feature to me.

You have to have at least three match tactics being trained for at all times. You can select tactics that you already have stored if you wish. It's no big deal but it shuts the moaner up. He will also then insist you spend time on training within these tactics. Easy, just press any of the buttons at the bottom left of the page & change setting periodically.

You should then begin to receive compliments from the same chap about your efficient match preparation procedures.

Wow, maybe that needs addressed in the patch. Seems kind of silly. Thanks fore the tip though!

I thought it was a bit nit-picking at first but I've changed my mind now. I have the team play 4-4-2 home, 4-2-3-1 home & 4-5-1 away. They are skilled in all three now & the games are simple to select. I vary the 'specialisarion' elements every few game months.

It's really not an unreasonable thing to be doing.
