Playing despite international call ups

I have started a career at my beloved Sheffield United. Just 12 league games in I have been plagued several times by international call ups!

This i don't mind but I ready myself for match day and confronted by 4-5 players still travelling and a couple still on international duty. I have had to field a second string and no subs. This is ridiculous, I suspect if I was in premiership or championship the game would be rescheduled but I am guessing the game doesn't recognise this may be the case lower down.

Anybody else got this?

I remember on CM old school games you could interact with the FA and either a) complain about a referee or b) request a match to be postponed. Is that still in the game somewhere, because as far as i'm aware IRL, if you are a lower league club and have 3+ players unavailable you can cancel the game (hense why you had a game canceled a few weeks ago, but the owls only had 2 unavailable and therefore had to carry on).
