FMWheelerDealer
Hey... tried to use the search function but it keeps freezing as i am sure there is a topic somewhere... but how does the PL TV money work now? i can see no record of it on my finances, i waited till the end of the first season after promotion... all i have in TV income for previous season is around £6m... yet the financial records news items states that we had a great financial year largely down to the £37m received from TV money.... where exactly has that gone? because i cant see it. Anyone able to 1. point me in the right direction if i am missing it or 2. let me know that its broken so i can forget about it?
Nottingham Forest
Premier League TV money is paid over the season. I believe you get £40m on this FM, as that's what I got. I think it's broke down into monthly installments over season and then money every time you appear on TV.
FMWheelerDealer
I got 5.5m on "TV Revenue".. the only thing that comes anywhere close to £40m was "Investments" at a shade over £25m..... but i thought that was the board kept injecting cash to keep me from going under! that happened a lot.... so still dont know where that £40m is? Nottingham Forest
It probably isn't SI's fault. Researchers do alot of the work, so whoever's done this has obviously made a mistake. Yeah, unfortunately the next patch will probably when it will be fixed.
FMWheelerDealer
Fair enough... someones fault for stiching us up anyway I dont imagine the next patch will be anytime soon either... ah well, onto the 2nd season we go... Cheers for your help, got the answer very quick! P.S.... can a club go bust on FM?? or will the board keep injecting cash into the club and chairman providing loans....? manutdfan123
You could always chuck in 40m into your balance each season you are in the Prem useing FMRTE, that would be a part time solution untill the new patch comes out.
Nottingham Forest
A club can never go bust in FM due to licensing issues I believe. They can go into administration and get into alot of debt and things like that. I haven't seen it happen often though. Edit: Don't use FMRTE as that can cause more bad than good.
