Problems loading saved game

I installed the new FM2012 on Sunday and played it the same day without any problems. When ive tried to load my saved game the following day the game just freezes. I thought it was a problem with the connection speed of my mobile broadband but ive since realised i dont need to be connected to steam so have switched this to offline and have tried not being connected to the internet but it still freezes. If i check on steam it shows that i have played the game for the period of time that i have been waiting for the game to load. I have had every version of FM and Champ man and never had any problems. Can anyone help?
