The_Big_Bad_Evil Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 Hi all fellow FMer's, please can someone help me as my laptop crashed the other day and i had to revert it back to factory settings and therefore lost all my Fm 12 data (and steam aswell), but ive installed steam again now and its no longer in the games file, so do I have to buy the game again as when i try to install Fm 12 again the cd key has already been activated and can not be used again! any help will do. Sikker Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 As I understand the use of Steam: First time you install Steam you make an user account. You now have a login and password. When you install/activate a game using Steam that game is now attached to/connected with your Steam user account. Then if you need to install Steam again you need to use the same user account (login and password) as when you first installed Steam (do not make a new account).
