Selecting two things at once

In the new game you can sometimes select two things (or more) at once. For example, in opposition instructions. To deselect someone you have to click on them again. Does anyone else find this a bit annoying? When I click on someone, I want just them to be chosen. Is there anyway I can change this? I'm probably being stupid and it's easily done.

The main area which needs to be improved is the editor. It's a real pain to be selecting multiple things at once without meaning to do so.
