loz1974 Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 Hi folks, Just got the disc delivered yesterday and can't for the life of me get it to load on a Mac. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Steam and totally uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Every time I reinstall it and then hit play in steam the FM2012 icon appears for about 5 seconds and then disappears and I get an error report. I have had a look at the FAQs but noy joy. KUBI Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Dou you have some applications running in the background? # from steam support - mac Disable Background Applications Please disable all of your background applications that could be causing interference with Steam. Internet Security software such as Little Snitch, Peer Guardian and Norton/Symantec Internet Security have been known to cause these issues. If you suspect that an Internet Security application is the root cause of the issue, you may want to consider fully uninstalling the Internet Security application.
