ccfcpaul
I am Nuneaton on my game. I got promoted to Conference Premier and I've had a lucrative fa cup match away at newcastle. I understood not being able before the newcastle game but it still says I cant afford to go professional(not giving the option to ask the board). The Newcastle game gave me about 600k and my balance is now a little under 700k. I have now managed to get them to upgrade youth facilities which is costing 350k. Krald
Well, you auto go professional when you get promoted to league 2. So I'd say leave it, and enjoy being able to use professional, semi-pro or amateur contracts at your will.
phnompenhandy
It doesn't depend on how much money you have, it depends more on the ambition of the board which is out of your control. As Krald says, the nearly always happens when you get promoted to the Football League.
ccfcpaul
Thanks for the replies. I'm on course to get promoted but I've had players stating that they won't improve unless they get full-time training. Its annoying to know that players with contracts ending this season are going to have to be offered 2 contracts (a part time one a few months before end of season so no1 else comes in for them and then a full-time when i become professional)........ I will miss non-contracts though.
