sonic1484
sorry guys ive looked every where and cant see it but ive never gone for the pay over so many months before, but due to my lack of budget ive just bought neymar for 40mill over 48 months, just how bad will it affect my budgets in the future, ps ive seen people buy 5 or 6 players like this in 1 season :-
Dan.Morris24
Depends how your clubs balance and your income. If you succeed and qualify through Europe and so on and have a healthy balance then you will be fine. But if you do this with 5 or 6 players you may struggle in the future in becoming financially stable.
x42bn6
Buying over 48 months (or indeed, any long-term purchase) is only safe if your cashflows are going to remain stable or increase over time. If you are relegation-threatened, for example, you may want to avoid 48-month transfers (maybe even 12- or 24-month transfers) because in 4 years time, you might be stuck in a lower league, but paying a transfer fee that only makes financial sense in the league you are in right now. By contrast, if you are 30 points clear at the top (in a league where you can get promoted from) by January, you could probably safely go for heavy 24-month transfers as you are likely to be promoted this season, and even if you go down the very next season you can amass money in your promoted league to cushion the blow.
