FootballManagerBlog
Here it is, possibly the biggest picture/text file you have ever seen, all regarding to match and squad rules in EVERY single country in Europe. Best list to get you informed before you start playing with any club in Europe, about the league rules regarding to max*foreign*players in the first eleven… I can't post a picture here  so just check it here. SWaRFeGa
To be honest, I was expecting something bigger, judging by your spiel. It's pretty standard. Helpful though, perhaps. But where are the match rules for England?
JimbobWWFC
Well that was an anti-climax... useful, but not incredible. Germany has no restrictions at all??
FootballManagerBlog
Right between Denmark and Finland
SWaRFeGa
Right between Denmark and Finland It says NOTHING. Why so?
Super Bladesman
I should've kept that feeder club in Ireland I had then, perhaps
JimbobWWFC
It says NOTHING. Why so? Because there are no restrictions on the number of foreign players in a match squad, but there are restrictions in the registered players for the league season
SWaRFeGa
The match squad must have no more than 5 loan players from clubs in the same nation. The match squad must have at least 6 players trained by a club in England. No trialists allowed to play in matches. No mention of these.
FootballManagerBlog
They have no restrictions to foreign players etc... But all the foreign players must have a work permit... We should have mention that
FootballManagerBlog
Great point! Will update with this info, thanks man!
JimbobWWFC
But if the link is only about foreign players, although those loan details are important, I wouldn't say they need to be included on that list
SWaRFeGa
But if the link is only about foreign players, although those loan details are important, I wouldn't say they need to be included on that list The actual text from the document states: "league rules regarding to max foreign players in the first eleven, max number of players in the squad, may number of players(sic) of this and that age, etc" So should probably come under etc! Rules is rules. Might as well list em all.
JimbobWWFC
If that's the case, I'm guessing the whole table would need changing because trialists probably can't play competitive games in many european countries
SWaRFeGa
If that's the case, I'm guessing the whole table would need changing because trialists probably can't play competitive games in many european countries It's a little vague anyway. Different divisions in the same country often have their own rules. Would be wrong to generalise everything as ENGLAND rules or CROATIA rules.
