Can you change a position from accomplished to natural in FM2012?

In previous games I could change a players position by retraining and playing them in their new position. I've had a couple of players in FM2012 retraining for 2 years and their position remains accomplished? The position isn't something crazy, it's a natural AM C who I am trying to make natural in MC position (where he was accomplished already). He is 17 years old and rated 4.5 stars potential for the AMC position but 4 stars for the MC position.

Before anyone starts with you can't change a natural position, there are loads of real life examples of players (Thierry Henry being the best one) changing from one natural position to another.

yes you can change it, but it seems to take a bit longer in this one than in previous versions.
