Welshace Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 getting an i7 and 8gb ram just for fm is madness... they will always be £1000 + and tbh , for fm you can do wonders with an i5 or similar for closer to the £500 mark.. take a look around... laptops direct have a good range.. just make sure you shop around and check the reviews etc... Welshace Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 what are the main specs i would need for fm fm eats processors up.. so the better you can get the better your fm experience will be.. 4gb ram is pretty standard these days and for fm you dont need anything more as fm doesnt use it.. graphics card wise, your pretty much fine with most cards... get dedicated though, its always worth it despite the fact that fm can run quite comfortably on integrated.. for the money your talking about i'd concentrate on getting a quality i5 or a i7 if you want to push it .. 4gb ram and a dedicated graphics card.. should be easy Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
