Impale
For £500 I would see if I could get a quad-core processor - as FM seems to use a lot of processing speed.
Ishu
No. I would want a better graphic card than 410M. That card is barely any better than the onboard on that.
bazrah99
I would consider a better screen but not bad for price. It will run FM very well.
bazrah99
No. I would want a better graphic card than 410M. That card is barely any better than the onboard on that. That is a bit harsh, it runs perfectly well on a 210M and a 410M is roughly 33% faster than the 210M.

figano
Can I get a better laptop for my money. I was under the impression that Lenovo was a good make
Bruun
It's a decent laptop for 500 £, you will be able to find better. But to the quadcore guy. I am pretty sure this cpu is a dual core with 4 threads, making it close to being a quadcore cpu
Ishu
making it close to being a quadcore cpu Not true. Big difference. Threaded cores are barely 50% of real cores
Welshace
id take an i5 over the old quads anyway
Bruun
Not true. Big difference.Threaded cores are barely 50% of real cores 4 threads at barely 50% is close to 2 cores at 100% So.. it's not a lie? But yeah.. Intel over AMD any day!

Intel over AMD any day! huh? 2 cores with HT - 4 threads (2 real, 2 virtual) 4 cores - 4 cores/threads (4 real) 2 core with HT isn't as good as a 4 core.
