thegaffer91
In my game, Fabio Capello is going to retire after euro 2012, meaning a new england manager will need to be found. im interested in this job, but unsure whether to apply. in prevous fms, i have had bad experiances as england manager which has put me off. Is there any international management guide? If not, could i have a few questions answered? 1) will i have to leave my current job? 2) how will i find which players should be in my sqaud? 3) how and when should i intergrate regens into the squad? 4) what other tips are there for international management? Thank you in advance

SWaRFeGa
1) No, you can manage bot a club AND national team. 2) Surely that's your job as the manager Use "player search", or check the league statistics/tables if applicable. 3) Again, there's no set time - you'd have to assess this yourself. 4) International management isn't so great really. Not an awful lot to do. - Get a good bunch of player in you "National Pool", including possible future players you'd like - Get involved with the under 21's etc
DS
I dont see how it would be much fun managing England. Its fun managing smaller nations. SI really need to improve intentional management...hopefully for FM09.
