Save Game (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4EHQEVRR) - Northern Monkeys, June 2019

Well Frazza, best of luck with it. I'm confident you know how to do it this time ;)

Another bit of improvement this season would be grand.

October Update

Softies 2 - 1 Chesterfield (H)
Driver (22) Holmes (32)
Blackburn (85)

A good start to the month, although it was a game that we had to win in all fairness with them lurking around the bottom of the table.

Softies 4 - 5 Northhampton (A)
Driver (1) Gaughan (61)
Blackburn (9,)Lyons (49, 69, 72)
55,
85)

Dissapointing defeat really. Another game where we have conceded far too many goals as well. Was feeling good when we got the equaliser in the 85th minute, but was very dissapoined when we conceded a 5th goal in the dying seconds of the game.

Softies 3 - 0 Grimsby (H)
Blackburn (24)
Howell (64, 88)

A very importnat win this was. We completely dominated the game and thoroughly deserved the win. We had slightly more possesion but had many more shots and that's what counted on the day.

Softies 1 - 1 Brighton (H) - JPT South 2nd Round, Softies win on Penalties 4-1
Blackburn (80)Emerson (26)

A rather lucky win to be honest. They had many more chances, but we defended very well and in the end it came down to a penalty shootout, which we did very well in, scoring all 4 of our's and saving 2 of their's.

Softies 1 - 0 Crystal Palace (H)
Blackburn (18)

An extrememely important win, which kept us in touching distance of the playoffs. The game was fairly even and once again the defence played well, keeping only their 3rd clean sheet of the campaign so far.

Softies 1 - 0 Tranmere (H)
Howell (73)

Another brilliant performance from our defence and goalkeeper saw us keep a clean sheet for the 2nd game in a row. This game was once again very even, with both teams having 50% possesion and having the same amount of shots at goal.

Softies 1 - 3 Leyton Orient (A)
Blackburn (51)Wardle (7, 22)
Winter (29)

Poor end too the month, although the result didn't hurt us too badly in the league table as many of he surrounding teams also failed to win. They were all over us and thoroughly deserved to win.

Your a little too close to the top of the league for my liking though.... Not that I am wishing a broken leg on Blackburn, I pray instead.

November Update

The Softies 0 - 1 Exeter (A)
Spencer (41)

Poor result really, we were lucky to only lose 1-0, despite having a goal disallowed 5 minutes from the end.

The Softies 0 - 0 Oxford (H)

The first goaless draw for us this season. It was a very boring and very equal match, with not many chances to be honest. Draw was probably a fair result in the end.

The Softies 2 - 0 Hartlepool (H) - FA Cup 1st Round
Blackburn (36, 87)

Relatively easy result from a mostly reserve Softies side. Blackburn played a key role though in making sure we won the game.

The Softies 2 - 0 Yeovil (H) - JPT South Qtr Final
Howell (4)
Peel (75)

Good result for us this one was. We played very well for the whole game and never really looked like giving away the lead at any point. Their wasn't actually many chances in the game, but we still managed to score 2 goals.

The Softies 4 - 3 Burnley (A)
Blackburn (27) McMillan (67)
Peel (40) Ford (76)
Hendley (81) Taylor (90)
Armenean (86)

2 - 0 up at half time and I though it was all over. I told the team I was pleased and then it all seemed to go wrong. We conceded 2 goals and it was all square. Then with 9 minutes to go Hendley netted a wonderful 25 yard strike and we were back in the lead. Then Armenean scored a header from a corner in the 86th minute and the game was pretty much over. They gave us a small scare in the last minute, but it wasn't enough for them to get back in tha game.

The Softies 3 - 1 Wycombe (H)
Peel (66) Saunders (40)
Driver (72)
Howell (83)

Going in 1 - 0 down at halftime is never a good thing, but luckily our 2nd half performance was fantastic in the 2nd half. We managed to score 3 goals without Blackburn as well after he got injured in the previous game.

Ten Ton F.C. Pre season Update

So far in pre season I've had to release a few players as we were 2k over budget. So I released Tim Hamilton ( well I never really released him, he was already going to Burton), Danny Gray, Nathan James and Jimmy Holden as they were eating up the wage budget. and I brought in Jerome Tunney (http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07162008142831xo6.jpg) and I quickly renamed him Frazza as hes immense IMO. I also brought in Dion Robinson (http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07162008142929vx5.jpg) as one for the future. I am searching for more CBs so don't worry.

Apologies again to Rlipscombe for the misunderstanding.

We are rubbish. Got to be honest Frazza and say I can't see what you see in that guy you've named, he can finish and that's it, no decent mental stats at all. Compare him to Dunn if you want to see a player.

Anyway, good luck with the rest of the season, hope the defence gets a bit better.

December Update

The Softies 2 - 2 Dag & Red (A)
Hendley (81) Marshall (2)
Williams (87) Jeffrey (65)

A lucky comeback and a lucky draw in this game. We didn't really deserve to lose or win so a draw was possibly the best result.

The Softies 3 - 1 Grimsby (A) - FA Cup 2nd Round Replay
Hendley (50) Warner (31)
Howell (85)
Bannister (87)

This game was a tough game, which probably could have gone either way. We plyed very poorly in the first half, but as it has been in previous games, our second half performance was spectacular. My team talk got praised at the end of the game as well, which doesn't happen to me very often

The Softies 0 - 0 Brighton (H)

Poor game. We didn't play very well and a draw was a good resul in the end. At least the clean sheet was a positive we could take out of the game.

The Softies 2 - 2 Bristol Rovers (A)
Hendley (12) Wright (53, 56)
Rinaldi (16)

I blame myself for this result. At half time it was all going too well, we were up to 2nd in the league and looked like it would remain that way with all the other teams around us drawing or losing, but then I accidently forgot to do the half time teamtalk and it all went wrong, losing 2 quick goals and getting dominated in possesion.

The Softies 5 - 3 Yeovil (H)
Sifter (35) Douglas (26)
Bannister (66) Russell (60)
Hendley (77, 85) Hughes (86)
Armenean (90)

Another high scoring game, and very action packed. A good result though despit conceding too many goals again. We remain in the playoff places though as we approach the halfway mark in this season.

There seems to have been a lot of high scoring games recently. My games rarely ever go above 4 or 5 goals

It's my tactic. It attacks too much so it makes me vunerable in defence yet I win.

With regards to these two posts, I get the same issues most seasons. I'll score 100 goals and let in 85. It's really annoying, and if I tweak the tactic to play a little more defensive, I'll score about 50 goals and let in 80. Sure, I lose most games, but I can sleep at night safe in the knowledge that my tweaking actually stopped us conceding a few extra goals :D

I forgot to say I'm in 9th place.

Thats a great effort Frazza, and some fantastic games. That 8-7 game looks a corker. 4-0 up at HT too, who'd have thought it would have 11 second half goals.!!

That's not a problem. If you have a data stick though, it'll be easier, as to upload will take about an hour and 30 minutes, but to transfer the game on a data stick would take about 5 minutes.

We are rubbish. Got to be honest Frazza and say I can't see what you see in that guy you've named, he can finish and that's it, no decent mental stats at all. Compare him to Dunn if you want to see a player.

Anyway, good luck with the rest of the season, hope the defence gets a bit better.

Don't worry about it bermybhoy. to be honest, i haven't popped my head in here since the move, so if anything it would be my fault. Besides, i've been involved in my other game. i'll have another go soon though, when there's a space, if that's ok. i promise to keep checking in.... ;)

Ten Ton F.C November update.

in november we played 7 games winning 4 drawing 1 and losing 2

Game 1

Game 1 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008145440wq4.jpg)

tbf we got lucky losing 3-0. we got played off the pitch really. And I knew that wee thing would come back and score against us.

Game 2

game 2 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008145645nl2.jpg)

Nearly fined Jimmy Russell after this match. Made me lose my clean sheet. But tbh I couldn't have asked for much more from the lads. Really happy with that performance.

Game 3

Game 3 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008145821ju3.jpg)

Got lucky with this match seeing as they had 19 shots and we had 8. Wallsall must be depressed after that and tbh I would be too.

Game 4

Game 4 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008145949sq8.jpg)

Upset with the performance. But even more upset with the ref, he disallowed a goal that would've gave NepentheZ his hat-trick. I complained to the F.A and they were silent about it FFS.

Game 5

Game 5 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008150155pa1.jpg)

I'm happy with the way the boys put the disappointment behind them. The match was more 1 sided than the scoreline suggests.

Game 6

Game 6 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008150317nj2.jpg)

Happy with not the team but Dunn in this match. He has been on fire lately. Really playing out of his skin lately.

Game 7

game 7 (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008150450ph3.jpg)

Really gave the lads a shouting at at half time, and it worked. That and a change of tactic to a more attack minded one.

league table

League table (http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07172008150600kq8.jpg)

I'm not too keen on it either.

I think what you've done here is introduce a brilliant new way to play the game which has been enjoyed by a lot of people. I hope something similar will be started for FM09 so I don't see a problem if it isn't finished in time.

Fair enough chaps...I foresaw several issues with it anyway.

What I think we've observed is that it's very difficult to bring success in these circumstances...you could write a thesis on the reasons for it (well, just about). My main theory is that people just aren't as 'attached' as to their own games and it kinda doesnt matter what happens because you're only there a season...hence the massive build up of players and so on....

I claim dibs on this for 09 btw. If anyone has any ideas drop me a private line and we'll see what we can do.

Ten Ton F.C December update.

in december we played we played 6 games winning 3 losing 2 and drawing one.

Game 1

Gillingham V Ten Ton

Game1 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008120845tj5.jpg)

tbf we got lucky all 3 goals came on the break, seeing as they had 21 shots and we had 18. It was an outstanding goalkeeping display.

Game 2

Ten Ton V Rushden and Diamonds.

Game 2 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121040sd9.jpg)

We didn't deserve to lose this match, they hit us on the break, and we couldn't cope with it simple as. I thought that game would be the start of bad form but it wasn't tbh.

Game 3

Ten Ton V Luton

Game 3 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121240yc1.jpg)

Another game where we got hit on the break, we really need to learn to cope with it tbh.

Game 4

Morecambe V Ten Ton

Game 4 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121349nx8.jpg)

I feel like we cheated Morecambe a bit tbh, we deserved to get hammered, but grit and determanation saw us out in the end.

Game 5

Ten Ton V Yeovil

Game 5 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121518qq4.jpg)

Boring match. We deserved to be shot after playing such a boring match. But we won and thats the main thing.

Game 6

Notts County V Ten Ton

Game 6 (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121644wq9.jpg)

Wasn't expecting this, certainly not away from home. We ran rings round their defence to come away with a result I'm delighted with.

League Table

League Table (http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07182008121829if9.jpg)

Player Stats

I thought the opposite when I was playing. Knowing that a load of other people were watching wanting me to do well (or badly) made me spend far more time on the game looking for players, changing tactics etc. When playing my own game I'm far too happy to see out a season without really doing much but this put pressure on me to get results. I wouldn't be surprised if playing this season took twice as long as it usually does with my own game.

NepentheZ
18-07-2008, 16:34
I agree with you there daf. Less the fact that I feel pressured by people watching me, but the fact that I feel the want to do good and please my fellow forumites. Its important I give it my all, and get the season done in the best way possible :D

Dava

here, here, great challenge and the want to do well is there to be seen.

I just think along the save you have been hindered by real life issues, meaning people can't complete their season, which is more than understandable.

In future, probs worth shooting an e-mail to the person next on the list rather than relying on the person picking it up on the forums.

2nd Leg:

The Softies 0 - 3 Doncaster (A)
Dryden (8)
Shaw (51)
Collins (87)

So close to mucking up, but in the end we made it though and The Softies were visiting Wembley for the 2nd time in the season, to play Brighton for promotion to the Coca-Cola Championship.

The Final:

Frazza is Armstrong & Graham still there. Would love to see a screenie of Harris, he was probs my best signing, a good target man.

Ten Ton F.C February update

In February we played 6 games, and won all 6, believe it or not. Brilliant month, one which got Wallace manager of the month.

Game 1

Game 1 (http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/7492/07202008101533pv9.jpg)

Good game, we had 17 shots, but only two goals. No wonder their GK got MOTM.

Game 2

Game 2 (http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/3207/07202008101937oc5.jpg)

Dunn didn't score for a change. I'm happy he didn't score tbh, as it gave the rest of the team a chance to prove themselves.

Game 3

Game 3 (http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/1874/07202008102105qy1.jpg)

Good game, tight game. We had 4 more shots than them yet we had the same amount of Shots on Target.

Game 4

Game 4 (http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/8163/07202008102215br3.jpg)

Good game, wasn't as tight as the scoreline suggests. Could've been worse for Hartlepool tbf.

Game 5

Game 5 (http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/6691/07202008102436rf5.jpg)

We didn't deserve to win, but we did. I feel like we cheated Lincoln a bit but its not important how you win, just that you win.

Game 6

Game 6 (http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/1676/07202008102608by0.jpg)

They ran us off the pitch, but we scored 6 goals. It was a shock victory tbf.

League Table

League Table (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/8486/07202008102734aw1.jpg)

As you can see its a 3 way tussle for the top spot. We should get promoted. Maybe not as champions, but maybe an automatic promotion place.

Ten Ton F.C March update

In march we played 5 games winning 3 of them drawing 1 and losing 1.

Game 1

Game 1 (http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/6465/07202008154754ad8.jpg)

As you can see it was a poor defensive performance. Shockingly bad defending tbf. But we still won.

Game 2

game 2 (http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/4869/07202008154902it0.jpg)

We got played off the pitch tbh. We got lucky with conceding only 4

Game 3

Game 3 (http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/5818/07202008155010vl9.jpg)

I felt happy with this win. They're our main title challengers. Good performance from the lads.

Game 4

Game 4 (http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/2435/07202008155120tr1.jpg)

Tight game, draw was a fait result tbf.

Game 5

Game 5 (http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/1251/07202008155238rn1.jpg)

When the game began I thought it was going to be a kicking match. It wasn't really. It was a steal from us to get the win.

League Table

league Table (http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/1540/07202008155350eo7.jpg)

As you can see we have definately got a playoff place. A playoff place for a team which was predicted to get relegated.

Player stats

Doesn't really make a difference. Usually the lower league players get U-19 / U-21 international games, which exposes them to the national side, and other bigger clubs.

I really don't understand how you can go from scoring 76 goals last season, to almost double that this season, without even strengthening the team (apart from 2 pretty pointless signings).

Maybe it's the tactics, or something, but I still have a few suspicions (that might just be because we will most likely be both in the same league next season) :D

He didn't say you cheated. So why are you getting defensive about it?

He simply stated that he couldn't comprehend how a team with pretty much the exact same squad can go from one extreme to the next. Perhaps you just have a great tactic, Frazza, so don't get uptight and aggressive about it, because that makes you look like you're doing something wrong.

fwiw, what tactic are you using?

I'm not trying to make an argument, but you did say, to quote ''Don't Cheat''. When you have in the past.

I'm not trying to start an argument, i'm not against you getting us promoted, but I want us to go up fairly, we have the same squad as before, which me and aab both failed to even come mid-table with, yet you've dominated the league scoring nearly if not 50 goals more than anyone else?

C'mon though lads, if he's cheated it's himself that will feel bad for it, plus he will pretty much ruin the whole game for everyone.

Frazza people asking questions about your game isn't them "getting on your back". This info should be provided regardless, and you should perhaps point out in an update that you see we've scored a lot more goals due to your attacking tactic, but have also conceded plenty. You don't make it easy for yourself getting an aggressive attitude towards the people who are asking the questions. This is a community effort in this game, but by being so secretive about your game people are bound to wonder.
Your home tactic I've seen before on the T&TT forum too, not that I remember when or where, or even if it was a good tactic. But why is it hard for you to explain why you've scored lots of goals, and why, when there was no mention of cheating, did you claim people suggesting you are.

You really don't make things easy for yourself on this site.

NepentheZ
20-07-2008, 17:36
Possibly that one. But even if it is the same as one in the T&TT forum, it can still be yours. If there was a cheat 4-4-2 tactic, it wouldn't mean everyone that played 4-4-2 used that tactic. I use domething very similar to kilmz for one of my tactics, (without the weird arrows, and th DM aren't in the same place) - but its 100% not his, and I built it after reading about 15 threads in the T&TT forum, gaining more tactical knowledge of how to use the players to their best advantage.

Frazza Pee - you have to appreciate that this is nothing personal. If someone is achieving something that other people couldn't it is only natural for people to ask questions about how they are doing it. This is part of taking part in a community based approach to the game, we all learn from each other and share hints and tips.

Dava

It is very easy to score goals on FM especially when the monkies do have 2/3 championship side attacking players in the team. It's keeping clean sheets thats the difficult part and Frazza has conceeded nearly 2 a game.

To be honest I don't think there would be much to learn from the tactic other than how not to set-up a defense!

Keep up the good work Frazza looks like we will be level pegging next year.

Whoever was meant to be after turnitup can go next for the Softies - dafuge? Turnitup never came back to confirm he'd read the initial posts or anything, and has been asked to a couple of times.

If he wants to do so, he's more than welcome to get involved in future, but for now I think we're as well to keep it going with someone else instead.

Sorry I don't have much time to be involved in the thread right now, I'll catch up on it as soon as I can. Cheers to everyone for keeping it going (even if it has turned into a battleground!)

April was a poor month and the only game played in May wasn't that good either. we played 5 game winning 2 drawing 2 and losing 1.

Game 1

Game 1 (http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/1858/07212008113111km5.jpg)

Boring match I have to admit, but we got the win and thats all that mattered.

Game 2

Game 2 (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/668/07212008113208jd2.jpg)

Dunn was the hero as per usual, we would've lost had he not been playing.

Game 3

Game 3 (http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/6051/07212008113310to2.jpg)

The less said the better, but even though we got hammered that was the match that got us promoted.

Game 4

Game 4 (http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/6467/07212008113408gi3.jpg)

I'm happy with the way we dealt with the 5-0 hammering, even more happy with the way Dunn reacted.

Game 5

Game 5 (http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3743/07212008113532cg0.jpg)

Fair result, last game of the season ended in a draw, but I don't care. It finished a brilliant season from Harris.

League Table

League Table (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/5605/07212008113701ih4.jpg)

As you can see we nearly conceded the same amount we scored, 6 points off the champions who were unbeatable the last 2 months of the season.

Player stats

Player stats (http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4875/07212008113836yv4.jpg)

Dunn just 3 goals off the wonderful 50 goals mark, brilliant season from the forward, its no wonder hes one of the teams favoured personnel.

Hope the report was enough, it really was a great season for the club. But even after getting them into L1 Wallace still isn't in the favoured personnel. How ungrateful is the board?

how much have you paid & are paying wages on him?? not sure i rate him too much.... is he highly rated by our scouts??

he's free and hes getting 400 p/w IIRC. The scouts say hes a good signing for most Championship sides.

Ten Ton End Of Season Review

It was a brilliant season for the club, we done better than I thought we would. Dunn and Harris done brilliantly. Danny Cook also had a good season. Tunney (Frazza but I've taken is nickname off of him) done poorly, waste of space. Dion Robinson looks like one for the future I mean alot of people want him. Stephen Roche, even in his advancing years, done well as well getting 13 goals and 27 assists in 43 games.

i feel this may be the area that needs the most attention..... i will probably bring my own tactic to the squad. i may look at my 'Como' tactic (4-3-1-2) which is also attacking, but also a bit dodgy at the back... i think i will look at the squad and see what's best.....

Good luck to Rlipscombe, my thinking is you're goin to have to invest a fair bit of time improving that squad if you're going to have any success.

Btw Frazza, you must not have compressed saving on - check in the in-game options - it would be about 45-50meg max if it was, would've saved you ages.

First impressions....

Squad looks pretty good to be honest, if a little on the light side. A lot of quality players, who hopefully will do a good job in the league. However, as Frazza said, we're getting bids on an almost daily basis for a number of players (which are all being refused). A few players are unhappy at this, including Dunn, but overall morale is still high.

As for the squad, i will look to keep alot of it intact, whilst trying to sell some of the deadwood. Whoever gave Pujol a contract on 1,800 p/w needs shooting!! :D Have adjusted my budget so i have 43k transfer budget, and a surplus wage budget of 5k p/w. i am looking to the loan market to bulk up the sqaud a little, whilst not commiting too much financially to it long-term. i have already brought in one striker, a Scot, also called James, from Manchester United for the season.

i have had a comprehensive look through the free transfer market, and there isn't too much quality there. i have hired an additional scout, on a 1-year deal, to improve my scouting capabilities.

on the friendlies front, i have kept Frazza's friendlies, whilst adding 1 match, which i won 4-0, away at Sheffield FC. (they play close to my parents house...) i have changed the formation to my Como 4-3-1-2 formation, and am going to give this a go to see how it works. i used it in a previous save with Doncaster and, whilst a little unpredictable, did achieve promotion for me.

That's about it for now. however, one other thing i noticed is that we have no Affiliated clubs. is this deliberate, and we can't have them, or is it simply that others haven't tried for one...??

Going back, the softies had Arsenal as a parent and were being sent some incredibly good players...the Monkeys board always refused anyway, but it was informally agreed not to take them on as it was creating a bit of imbalance between the teams.

Start of Season Update

as i have now made it to my first league game i thought i'd do a little update (apologies for no screenies yet as i'm at work and bored... :) )

Pre-season has gone quite well, with the team settling into my 4-3-1-2 formation. Dunn has continued to bang in the goals, although he is still unhappy. he's formed a decent partnership with my Man U loanee, with Harris pushing for a starting place too. Williamson has cemented his place as first choice AMC.

On the transfers front, it's been relatively quiet. i continue to reject, or ignore, bids for all our stars. i have brought in 2 players so far on loan - the aforementioned Man U ST, and an AML/C from Fulham. both look exciting prospects. I have also made 1 permanent signing, a young England U-19 DM from Wigan on a free transfer. He has become 'rlipscombe' in the game, as i rate him highly.

Season tickets have sold out, with around 2,300 seats sold, a massive improvement on 745 from last season. Profit made in July totalled 339k . In the pre-season betting, we have odds of 40-1 for promotion, and the bookies reckon we have a tough fight to stay up.

i have played my first league game, away at the mighty (:D) Sheffield Wednesday. We went 2-0 down, but rallied to draw 2-2 with an own goal and a late equaliser from Williamson. Dunn had a disappointing game to be honest. Was delighted with the point, and i hope this is a good sign of things to come. We have drawn Championship side Leyton Orient in the League Cup 1st round, which is a tough start.

so, that's the situation to date. Will Ten Ton secure back-to-back promotions, or will we slip back into League 2. We shall see!

Legends FC - Pre Season

Pre season friendlies:

Legends 3-2 Swindon
Hartlepool 1-1 Legends
Hitchin 1-7 Legends
Garforth 0-1 Legends
Legends 3-1 Arsenal
Legends 2-1 Liverpool Reserves

Started well with a win against Championship opposition, then struggled against the team from League 2. The strangeness continued as despite battering BSS Hitchin it was a struggle against non league Garforth. Things then got really weird as I stuffed a slightly understrength Arsenal team and beat Liverpool's second string.

Pre season squad stats (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/stats.jpg)

The old boys Blackburn and Williams impressed, with a good showing from Sawyer, the player I am hoping can replace Rinaldi.

Transfers (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/transfers-17.jpg)

With my style of management I thought it would be best to strengthen the defence. Here's the new players I've brought in:

Luke Jackson (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/jackson.jpg)
Gary Lynch (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/lynch.jpg)

Carl Wilkinson (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/wilkinson.jpg)
George Millar (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/dafuge/millar.jpg)

A few of them were bought to fill a few gaps but Minca looks like a great player, although he is a short term signing.

I might have one more big signing, but I'm doubtful I'll be able to pull it off.
