aikidos
Yes.....It seems like 1 every other game....
h@@kon
nope, 1 season and 1 own goal.
tigerhgrrrrrr
At this early stage I have not noticed this but the one or two I have seen seem to have the same issue as FM11, namely when a shot is goalbound anyway and takes a deflection it counts as an own goal too often, should be the strikers goal (very minor gripe though)
LiquidFury
Yes, but it's actually my players who seem to suffer the ignominy of putting the ball into their own net. No matter how much I scold them, or work on defending set pieces and such.
VonBlade
It is a little high. I think whereas in FM11 a bit of a 50/50 thing was given to the striker, it seems it's now given to the D.

Agreed. Although I have had my goalkeeper (apparently) do a John Lukic and fist a ball into the box into the net... The ball swung towards him, he went to either punch or catch, then suddenly it ended up in the back of the net.
rancer890
Nope. I've just noticed a crazy amount of OGs scored by my defenders.
ACJMY2K
My last 4 games the opposition have scored 2 OG's....
bazrah99
I have had two or three in my first half season, nothing out of the ordinary here. What tier of football are people playing that are seeing too many? I play in second tier (English Championship) and looks average.
Alan A Wadge
What i noticed is that the majority of deflections are counting as OG instead of a goal for the shooter.
bigredletterday
Think Alan A Wadge might have it figured out - seems the ME can't differentiate between deflected shots already on target and actual OGs. On a different note, anyone else finding the number of shots hitting the woodwork unusually high?
upthetoon
When your striker has a shot directly on target but hits the goalie and goes in, for strange reasons the game considers this as an own goal. when in fact it should be a goal for your striker. hope SI can solve this. bigdanio
It's your tactics. No, seriously. I play a high pressing game, lots of forwards, defenders are often sliding the ball into their own net because if they don't make the challenge, my waiting attackers will score. I am not seeing own goals when the def isn't under pressure.
