Now unfortunately I seem to have a sever problem which is crippling my club. Board restrictions are stopping me from offering decent contracts to staff. I'm £150k under my wage budget but I can only offer staff members a max of £1k. It was £2.5k in the championship! Clubs came in for my best scouts and coaches and whereas I would normally offer them a better deal and they usually stay, I couldn't offer them anything and they left. slipknot67 Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 I think I read on here a while ago that the amount of wages you can offer to staff and players now takes into account the combined total of your current wage expenditure so that regardless of wither that total is significantly under your agreed budget, if the board feel the expenditure is at risk of getting excessive in comparison to turnover they'll cut back the amount you can pay people.
