menace- Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 So I got the game Friday, had my little rant about having to use steam even after purchasing the disk, and now a whole 3 days later steam no longer starts up. So obviously I now can no longer play FM which, lets face it, is a massive pain in the arse. The game just crashed out, and then when I tried to relaunch it steam crashed. Now when i try to reopen I get the error: Steam failed to load: *SteamStartEngine(0xbfffdd340 failed with error 1: CMultiFieldBlop(pSerialized): Bad Field - extends past blob I'm running a Mac Book Pro 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 I've tried a reboot and reinstall to no avail.
