San Giovanni - Campionato Sammarinese - 2027/28

League Table (http://imgur.com/Np7U8)
League Position Graph (http://imgur.com/7IitH)

We started off with 2 straight defeats before working our way back to the top and winning easily beating Folgore 4-1 in the Final.

Coppa Titano (http://imgur.com/CEFOl) - Unbeaten and we won easily beating Tre Fiori 5-1 in the Final.

European Champions Cup (http://imgur.com/2LMnJ) - A dream getting a Sammarinese into the Group Stages! We even managed to get points by beating Beskitas, truly magnificent.

Squad (http://imgur.com/bRrDi) - A very small, but domestically very able team, they manage to handle the amount of games very well and get better the further into the season they get.

Finances (http://imgur.com/E4xxu) - A MASSIVE boost sees us with almost £7,000,000 in the finances!

Youth Players:

Raoul Belmonte (YP2) (http://imgur.com/175H1) - Almost 32 now, 27 appearances but would expect him to retire pretty soon.

Remo Aielli (YP12) (http://imgur.com/HrGSe) - Another goalscoring season finishing with 30 goals and 14 assists.

Angelo Perra (YP13) (http://imgur.com/OoPIk) - Now the all time top goalscorer for San Marino, with 9 goals, his speed is amazing too and managed 10 goals and 15 assists.

Fabio Bernardini (YP14) (http://imgur.com/L5TyF) - Started his defensive scoring again, 10 goals and 7 assists by the end of the season.

Antonio Stanzione (YP15) (http://imgur.com/09tdH) - Another good season from him scoring 18 and getting 8 assists.

Antonello Carraro (YP16) (http://imgur.com/MicKj) - Getting a lot of game time now and also looks quite well rounded.

Antonio Costanzo (YP17) (http://imgur.com/bkCoB) - Somehow still not capped by San Marino at a Senior level, made 24 appearances and got 17 assists so very good season.

Michele Centofanti (YP18) (http://imgur.com/Es5D8) - Still a mish-mash, but a Key Player of a mish-mash, he scored 22 goals AND got 22 assists in 40 games!

Boris Oddo (YP19) (http://imgur.com/bRQW1) - 23 appearances and managed to score 9 goals, it's a shame that he is bald at such a young age though...

Pasquale Missiroli (YP20) (http://imgur.com/QWWKc) - The new defender, give him a couple of seasons and I'll see how he develops.

Attendances are growing nicely along with the value of the club! A couple more champions league visits and you'll be able to afford probably any upgrade! What are the facilities at at the moment?

Loving all the progress you've made in the few days that I've been away. Incredible to see you grabbing a win in the CL group stage. Which players and version of manager are in the San Giovanni favoured personnel list?

Too me it's a shame that for some reason Raoul Belmonte isn't even Favoured Personnel, even after all the years he's been at the club

Do you re name your players with (YPxx) in brackets so you can keep track of them?

Do you re name your players with (YPxx) in brackets so you can keep track of them?

Yep, but I only do it with the player that has the most potential, that way I don't have to write updates on every player.

jdrawmer

So one player every season gets YPxx, xx being the season you're in? Sounds like a wise idea! Does YP stand for Young Player? Youth Prospect?

Well that's what I thought? Every season, the best prospect gets the next number, which should equate to the season number surely?

Congratulations on another great win too!!!

Congrats on the fantastic progress and the thread in general. You must get a great amount of satisfaction from how its all going. It's quite easy to go searching for the best youngsters but to rely on the youth set up is brilliant. Can't wait until you make the next step and qualify from the group stage.

That is an amazing stat, I thought maybe around half but not 8 of them and especially the Under 19's is impressive but you controlling them makes it less surprising :p

Truly amazing work with the country as a whole :D

Ask always for 50% of next sale. They usually agree and it's normally a good source of money.

There is no way that you can lose your username. Try signing in with your browser on Steam page. And check if you have forgotten the password, you can retrieve it.

Makoto Nakamura
19-11-2011, 08:48
Right. I'm still very annoyed, and also quite sure that I've been hacked somehow, my computer completely crashed last night before it happened and when I restarted it I had 3 new e-mails saying "Steam access from your new computer" which would mean that someone was signing in as me from a different computer. I have no idea how or why but by the looks of it but this game is over....I don't know what to do, I can't fix it.

DazRTaylor
19-11-2011, 08:58
First thing's first. Go to My Computer > Users > Your Name > My Documents > Sports Interactive > FM2012 > Games. Here is the list of your save games. Right click on this game and select copy. Go to Desktop and right click again and select paste. This way your game is saved. Now you need to rescue Steam and I dont know Steam to advise you. But your save game is saved.

Haha, priorities :)

Second thing I would do is change your Steam password. If it's been hacked it means they have it. If you use the same password for other things, I'd change those too.

When you say it crashed, what did it do exactly?

Makoto Nakamura
19-11-2011, 09:26
I was watching a video on YouTube and then suddenly everything froze and just a really loud noise from what I was watching kept repeating on a loop until i had to turn it off by the button, and then when I restarted the computer Steam had errors saying that the files had been moved and were now corrupt so I had to re-install Steam.

19-11-2011, 10:08
Reinstalling steam doesn't mean you need a new username /password. Type in the old. If it you know it's the right username but the password doesn't work theres most likely a more sinister reason why it doesn't work. Make sure to run a spyware search on your computer and then request a new password from Steam.

It doesn't look like this is coming back so how about this, either on Football Manager 2011 or 2010 I do this challenge, but on every continent, loading:

Andorra/ San Marino
Bhutan/ Brunei
Samoa/ American Samoa
Somalia/ Seychelles
Montserrat/ Anguilla
Bolivia/ Ecuador

Take 1 or both of each of those to make it continental dominance and might do it Youth Only aswell. Thoughts?

It will come back, you need to get on to Steam about this. It's your account, you should be able to access it. Clearly you've had it hacked so they need to help you recover it. Don't give up, you'll definitely get it back if you pursue it.

Yet another steam issue!!!

Although the issue with your computer freezing sounds remarkably like what happens to me on occasion when watching videos, and if FM is even running (you have already saved game), it corrupts my saved game file so I REALLY hope that doesn't happen to you!

I've resorted to just closing FM whenever I want to watch a video, which sucks.

BurnCM4X
19-11-2011, 16:18
I did it with Andorra in FM 2011. It's a cool system because you have B teams and 2 divisions witch makes fun to play. There's an issue in FM 2011 that no one was able to confirm yet in FM 2012: When you enter in the top 50 of the Dynamic League Ranking you will get huge prizes that may turn the game too easy. That said, making to the top may take a few seasons so you probably won't get there until you're steam account is fixed.

Hello,

A staff member has replied to your question:

Hello Makoto,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

I see that you've logged in and played the game since this message. Please let us know if you still require assistance.

The thing is...I uninstalled Steam on the 18th and my friends at school have told me that my account signed in 2 days ago, I've re-installed steam and it still doesn't recognize me, so now someone has definitely taken my account away from me :(

You should be able to recover it somehow. Reply to them saying you did not entered steam and ask for information to reset your account password and email if necessary.
If this is related to their recent security breach they HAVE TO restore your access since they are the people to blame for this matter.
If they do not resolve your situation i advise you to post your situation in the general section to worn players about using steam. Maybe it will force SI to take some measures.

Email back and say it's not you who has logged in, someone has stolen your account and you need them to recover it for you.

Have you tried using the "Forgot Password" feature on the Steam website? Can you still access the email account you used to create your Steam account? You need to use a code from an email they send you in order to use Steam on another computer with your account, if they've taken over your email account as well then you need to reset everything on both accounts.

If you can't recover the email then create a new one, recover your Steam account and change your email to the new address.

In the news item, when you you get "New intake of Youth players", select the view button on that news item. This takes you to the youth intake. Just above halfway up, on the left hand side, it should read "Selection Info". Change to Assistant Reports and viola.

Makoto have you managed to upgrade your youth recruitment at all in this career? Just wondering as I haven't been able to at all on my Newcastle save and the San Giovanni save I started up yesterday!

Can't believe how quick the season goes by lol, first one down in less than 4 hours! Managed to finish 4th, couple of good youths in, still can't settle on a tactic though :/ what do you usually play in the league/europe?

Also, how often do you hassle the board for upgrades? So far they've upgraded junior coaching once and nothing else!

Managed to get my my youth & training facilities upgraded on my save in the 3rd season....well, thought so until I asked for a new stadium and the chairman cancelled them!! had to take a loan out for 1.1m for the stadium, 3768 capacity, called the Kazcar Kazyi (whatever that San Giovanni legend is called) Arena...b*****ds!! I deserve recognition lol.

Furthermore, I have to pay 7k a month repayments untill 2027, once the stadium is built in 2017 though this should pay for it

League Table (http://imgur.com/uPsmX)
League Positions Graph (http://imgur.com/JanM6)

Spent most of the season 2nd behind Folgore but we managed to creep ahead and win the league by 3 points.

Coppa Titano (http://imgur.com/M5M1d) - Not unbeaten this year, 2 losses in the Group Stages but a 6-1 win against Domagnano and a 2-0 win over Murata sees us get the trophy, again.

European Champions Cup & EURO Cup (http://imgur.com/7mP8H) - Good wins against IFK Goteborg & Slask set us up against Sparta Prague, which we lost 7-5, we then got put in a EURO Cup Group with Metalist, FC Groningen & Valencia, unfortunately we didn't get any points though.

Squad (http://imgur.com/TH6ZK) - Only lost one player, Carlos Morales who went to Libertas for £35,000.

Finances (http://imgur.com/LqbuW) - Another £500,000 in the black...up and up!

League Table (http://imgur.com/piWlH)

European Champions Cup (http://imgur.com/atMaa) - Possibly the hardest Group there has ever been but at the very least we managed to score! Barcelona made it to the Quarter Finals and were beaten by Manchester United 2-1, A.C Milan beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Final and Olympique Lyonnais lost 3-2 in the EURO Cup 1st Knockout Round to eventual winners FC Porto.

A much better domestic season, a lot of green dots and yet it still took us a few weeks to get into first place.

Coppa Titano (http://imgur.com/q0gnK) - Easily won again, with loads of goals, winning the Semi-Finals 5-3 and winning the Final 5-1.

European Champions Cup & EURO Cup (http://imgur.com/mcicg) - A loss to APOEL put us in a EURO Cup Group with Lille, Fiorentina & Zenit, and for the first time in a Continental competition we actually looked like we could win, we didn't, but it looked like we could.

Squad (http://imgur.com/1E3zV) - Transfers (http://imgur.com/FlisO) - We made a £925,000 profit from selling 3 players even if I didn't get the £600,000...

after reading this you have inspired me to do my own San Marino save but with Fiorentino....3rd season now but players keep bottling in it in the championship playoffs...you reckon that could be because the average age of my team is 19? pressure getting to the kids?

It might be, just try doing team meetings to get morale up, sometimes it has a drastically opposite effect though, just keep trying and you'll win

And we get the easiest draw in the 3rd Qualifier against either Qarabag Agdam or TNS, I'm seriously hoping we play Qarabag Agdam as back in 2017 we went against them and lost 10-3, then in 2022 we had a rematch and won 4-2, so this will be a good game to see how much we've progressed!

Great result that one. If I was manager of the other team, I'd be very angry that I had 64% possession and not only didn't score, but conceded 6.

There's actually a message you get when a major injury destroys a player's future; one of your backroom staff or physios reports they will never reach their potential or something like that. If you didn't see that, you're golden.

BurnCM4X
13-01-2012, 21:44
keep in mind that the star system depends on how good your top players are... If your top player went away it's possible that your scouts consider a new player 4.5 stars when before they would call it a 3.5 star player.

Thanks :) I didn't get to improve the facilities until we got into Europe, until then it was a bit up and down in performances, I think you'd need to get a few decent cup runs in to get the money needed, it took me 7-8 years before I got a noticeable change in Youth quality, but now they're getting better and better, just stick with it! :)

League Positions Graph (http://imgur.com/MCwDT)
Domestic Fixtures (http://imgur.com/BQvwY)

Another pretty good season, will probably never get an unbeaten season though with the amount of players leaving us either through transfers or refusal to sign contracts.

Coppa Titano (http://imgur.com/OfhQq) - Another Cup win, what else to say, it's part of the wallpaper now.

European Champions Cup (http://imgur.com/QmMIl) - Qualifying was good, but the group stage was absolutely abysmal, capped off by a 10-0 loss to A.C Milan.

Squad (http://imgur.com/LG3NV) - Our small squad is just getting smaller and smaller now, I hope they can keep going strong.

Finances (http://imgur.com/fIZIW) - Still going up from European revenue, almost at £15,000,000 now.

Youth Players:

Remo Aielli (YP12) (http://imgur.com/v5iXj) - Joining Tre Penne

Angelo Perra (YP13) (http://imgur.com/Z2Wgd)

Fabio Bernandini (YP14) (http://imgur.com/DgVq1) - Refused to renew contract, leaving on a free transfer.

Good luck in Singapore, I'd say it would be harder on the money side, but slightly easier on the fact that there are less "giant" clubs in Asia.

I still have the original staff other than I signed Samuel Eto'o when my first manager messed up and Yazar Yazici walked out and I needed an Assistant, also with the addition of Raoul Belmonte as a coach now.

What are your coaches like? You definitely have the money to get some top coaches so do you? Or do you use retired players from your team?

Other than my assistant Samuel Eto'o, all the backroom staff are the same as when I started, and Raoul Belmonte has turned into a pretty good coach too
