Jamman Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 This has been an issue for sometime now. As Southend I often play in our away kit when a team in blue visits. Doesnt always happen and never really bothered me, but now our away kit is a disgusting pink its more annoying than ever. Any idea why this happens? Turneep Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 Based on someone posting a picture of england playing holland; It seems that when an away kit matches a home kits colour the away team use their home kit but the home kit switches to their away kit as if they are playing away because the away team is in their home kit. tigerhgrrrrrr Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 This rarely happens in FM in recent years, but it used to bug me back in the day....but due to club deals with kit manufacturers there are (albeit rare) cases of Club sides wearing 2nd or 3rd choice kits at home out of choice in real life - nothing to do with colour clashes. Happened twice in first season in my league. Against Gillingham and one other. This has nothing to do with wearing away kits out of choice but is an issue with the game not choosing the correct kit.
