Problem with the internet is the anonymity and people get carried away. Its very easy for a thread to just be an angry rant especially if the opening post is just an angry rant. So its better to close it. If he has a point to make, he should learn to make it in a manner that is acceptable to the people who run the forum that he is trying to communicate through, either that or he makes his opinion heard elsewhere.
