I've seen regens spawn at other teams that had fathers that were coaches/managers for those teams (I think - never any famous fathers anyways). It's strange, usually the son has the father in his favorite personnel, but the same isn't true for the father. I think (not as sure) that I've seen a few brothers too. This is the one thing I really want to happen in my game but despite playing tons of seasons on both '07 and '08 I'm still yet to have a son come through. I'm currently in 2023 with Gateshead and I get excited every year when it's running up to the date when all my new youth players come in. I'm alwasy left disappointed though. Nomis07 Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 I'm in 2011 but I think he came into the game in 2009. I can't remember his name off the top of my head but i'll post a screenie tonight. He's quite good and the only reason I noticed him is because I have my scouts set to monitor all the U19 leagues I have loaded and he seems to perform quite well for them. Doesn't bother me but i'm sure it would bother other people. When you check out other managers profiles, if they have a son he will be listed as favoured. Sadly one of them is now national first choice and at Palermo, the other is part time at Murata! And to make matters worse... its the younger brother who's the more talented one. The Harry_Pontek played FM07 until he is about 60 years old without having any offspring. It will be a nice surprise if he has one in FM08 though. The best player he picked up is a 16 year old somalian (I am from Somalia too) his name is Saad Mohamed (mine in the game Mohamed Ahmed) but I think he doest have me in Fav list. He has absolutely fantastic skills though. Please tell me how should I know if he is my son (god IRL this would have been embarrasing)? By the way.. In the game I am 32 and he is 16.
