Looking for some thoughts on this

I've noticed in my two saves that there are a large number of players who complain about not getting first team football when they are 21 years old and younger.

I get a news item from one of my coaches saying that the player in question is considering moving on from the club if they don't get first team football soon - even if they are nowhere near being good enough for the first team.

This is happening to me at both Blackburn and Northampton.

Does anyone else feel this happens too often with young players?

The only players I get this with are the ones that don't show enough potential to warrant giving them game time, in which case I'd be selling them on anyway.

The majority of my players remain happy as I rotate a hell of a lot.

are they players you have signed or players who were already at the club?

Players that were already there. The annoying thing in the Blackburn game is that some of them are ones that I would look to be using in the next season, but can't really throw them in as I took over the club when they were bottom of the table.

They won't even accept going out on loan.

Yeh, does seem to be those already there, I ignore them, eventually some request to be listed so I do, then nobody buys them but they stop bugging me.

Play them in the U20s and occasionally play them in your first team in easy matches. I had Paolo Cannavaro turn 33, and he simply wasn't good enough to play for me. I put him in the U20s and never complains about it.
