How to stop club chairman from selling my best players.

well, in FM 2011, I once took charge of a Swedish club. I like the rather quietness in its competition compared to England and liked my 2 years where I brought the club to enter UEFA Europa competition.

But my chairman sold 2 of my key players because "the offer was too good to pass". Basically, the game told me that the chairman negotiated a deal on club's behalf or something.

Is there any way to make a chairman stop doing that?

Just for FYI, the club wasn't in a financial difficulties and any offer bigger than 1.5m euro was automatically accepted by my chairman regardless how important my players were. I got pissed and resigned from the club soon after in my FM 2011 play.

There isn't unfortunately. The chairman is the chairman and he over rules you. It's apart of football.

I was really hoping to build Man UTD-like reputation for the Sweden club, but with chairman selling better players, I saw no chance of achieving that. And my best players were only like Npower CH level...

It's what some real chairmen do. You can quit, like some real managers do, you can live with it, like some real managers do, or you can change his attributes in the editor, like no real managers do.

well there is way, you can transfer list this player and he most likely gonna accept other club, and you are rejecting offer i dont find it as a funny way to save your player, but this is possible, sorry for my eng :]

just keep signing more. no doubt that he sold them for more than what you bought them for, so you just need to get better players. eventually, you'll realize it's for the best.
