Wiitastic
Do you have any specials ways you always negotiate the purchase of a player for your club ? I'm in the middle of purchasing Garay to replace the pending departing Jamie Carragher end of 1st season. He is valued at 6m, I slapped in a cheeky 7.5m 1st offer knowing it wouldn't be accepted. And it wasn't I then enquired about a possible price. They came back and declined any price. I then placed a 10m bid in just to test the waters. They replied with a 24m valuation if I want to buy Garay. No chance I was going to pay that, then I kept on upping my offer by 2.5m. I slapped in a 12.5m offer They replied with an adjusted 23.5m then 21m. I have upped my offer to 17.5m hoping they accept. If they accept, it will save me 6.5m on Garay. ** Update - offer of 17.5m was accepted *** Keep in mind, Garay was offered to all clubs by his agent. Bootador
I'm still fairly amateurish with my negotiation skills, however... I did manage to get Agger for his market value 11.5M. Liverpool originally wanted 31M but after I pulled out he launched a scathing attack on the manager and they accepted the 11.5M.
Adz
If they negotiate that high, stick in something like 14/15m and change to non-negotiable. If they reject then stick some clauses and see what happens.
