this thread is for ppl to post any tips they have for new people starting the game. They cna be on anything at all, ie. training, transfers, using the interface etc.

here are mine, sorry if theyre in the manual or are really obvious

First an obvious one which most will know - There are two key times when you cna sign players on frees. These are the periods of time 6 months before a players contract expires. The normal dates for contracts to expire are 30th june and 30th December though you will find somepalyers contracts run until different dates from these.

To take advantage of this, on june 30th and december 30th, go to player search, go to customise and search for players with contract status expiring. You will be able to offer a contract to most of the players offering minimal or no compensation. If a player is displayed but you can't offer a contract to them, this is because their contract expires in 6 months to a year. Cgheck the contract expiry date and come back to the list 6 months before their set contract expiry date.

when you go on holiday, to come out you have to hold a button but sometimes this doesnt work. The easiest way to come out of holiday is to flick the hold switch on. You should then come out of holiday as soon as the next day has passed.

when navigating lists, to go quickly from the top to the bottom, flick the anologue stick. This is useful on your squad list for example as you simply have to flick the stick down to go from the first player to the last.

Ok heres a tip by me

When a player complains about lack of first team,give him one match and hell be happy again.

Last 20 minutes when leading.

Tick defending,men behing ball,and no forward runs except wingers and strikers,also only RWB for wingers and strikers.Also tick counter attack.(has gave me so many comebacks)

When losing with 20 minutes to go tick attacking,give everyone forward runs and Rwb apart from CD'S,also give cross ball to FB'S and wingers.
