drumz
Just out of interest, does setting the decision deadline to today/tomorrow when making an offer for the player drive up the price? In previous editions I always set it to the quickest option possible as I like to build a squad as quickly as possible especially before the season so they all get a pre season at my club. Just wondering if it's an expensive way of going about transfers.

FMidiot
Only if another team is bidding at the same time i seem to get my bid rejected by setting deadlines.

Yeah that seems to be the only time I've seen it make a difference. I was just thinking that maybe rushing a transfer deadline makes you come across as more desperate, hence the selling club driving the price up.
