SaintsCanada
The demo can't be downloaded in South Korea via Steam (so it can't be played at all in SK). I was wondering how it will be possible to buy the game after full-release here? Thank you.
anagain
According to the FAQ there are restrictions on the sale of FM12 in Germany, North Korea, Hong Kong and China, but it doesn't mention South Korea. Have you attempted to buy the full version on Steam?
Legionaire
You can always buy a retail copy if it's not availale on steam. And since you are from canada, surely you can ask your friends in canada to gift one to you?

xvimfuegox
Hi there, hopefully we'll have some news for you on this soon. When can we expect this news? I'm in the same situation, living in S.Korea and can't download. If someone from the UK gifted it to me would it work? This is a poor show.
Mike7077
There was a guy around the forums recently who I think lived in South Korea and seemed to know a thing or two. Apparently Steam is heavily disliked by the South Korean authorities. Don't know if this is in any way corrected to the issues being described in this thread. SeoulBhoy
SI when can we expect some movement on this? Is it possible to buy/download FM12 in South Korea?
seagull84
Hi, think I might be the guy referred to!! Anyway, you can get the game and play it in S.Korea (i'm doing it now). there are 3 options.... 1. get someone in your home country (or a country where FM is on sale) to "gift" it to you on STEAM ( i did this - no problems and you get to download it from the STEAM servers with your super fast Korean internet!) 2. Buy from a digital download website and then just get the game through STEAM 3. Order or get someone to send you the boxed copy You absolutely can authenticate and play through STEAM even though you can't download it with them. I've helped a few people out that have pm'd me and they are now playing as well. It's not difficult to do - you just need to put a bit more effort in than most. (also it is possible to download the demo - you need to use the direct link given by SI in the demo thread)
