question about the editor and creating someone

if i want to create myself... but i've already started a new game... can i still do it in the editor?

or do i have to make all the changes to the DB first before starting a new game?

i recall not being able to do it in past FM's and was just wondering if that is changed now?

Nope, unfortunately you'll have to start again if you want db changes to take effect.

There are 'real time' editors that let you edit the game while playing such as FMRTE, but I'm not sure if you can create a player or overwrite one with them. I think you might be able to but you'll probably have to wait for an FM12-compatible version of them to be released.

Gotta do that in the editor pre game.

Unless you want to overwrite a newgen player via FMRTE (if that can be done)

where should i save my editor data? i can't find the new database that i saved... but ive saved it into the default folder

Ok, I'm an idiot... how do i open the editor? I can't find it in my Steam/FM12 directory?

(If the save files are same as in past, they should show up in My Documents/Sports Interactive).

you need to go to steam --> library --> right underneath library there's a drop down menu --> select tools --> and find FM12 editor (summat like that) in the list
