isuckatfm Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Long story short your game is unrecoverable. It apparently has to do with antivirus software scanning the temp files FM creates and causing damage. To prevent it happening in the future turn off all antivirus programs when playing FM (stay away from dodgy internet stuff while it's off). Or add the temp locations to your exclusion list for on access scanning. Also set up rolling saves so if you do face a future issue you have a recent save point to fall back on. They really should add a warning about this as it happens fairly often. Having said that there's probably legal issues why they don't. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
