Staffing Question

Been playing the demo as everyone else and i'm sorting out staff for the new game when released.

Have a couple of questions :-

(1) Would determination stat really make a difference for scouts ?

(2) Also would a physio with higher motivation & Determination help with recovery for injuries ?

Only asking as normally would only go for the main stats on both but wondered if they did make a difference.

1) yes, i believe it will make a difference.

2) It wont help a faster recovery, but i will give you a better and more accurate estimate as to when they will be back i believe.

Determination basically means how much hard graft the staff put in. A scout with high DET will get on with his job and deliver more reports, more quickly.

id never really thought of staff like this, what sort of qualities should we be looking for outside of their specific coaching ability? e.g. attack coaching is there a thread about this?

there was actually a cracking piece written by another FM forum which covered this in alot of depth and defined each stat and what it would mean for each staff role, unfortunately you had to pay £10 for it and i believe SI/SEGA asked them to stop selling it or something along those lines as they didnt have permission too.

Thanks for the replies, i knew on the coaching roles determination makes a differance to star rating so will enhance my search for other depts as well

For all the backroom staff, Determination, Discipline and Motivation increase their competence.

As for the skill attributes, I think a thread on them is lurking in the Tactics and Training Forum. If not just ask and someone will dig it out.
