CrD Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Find it hard to sign players on sensible wages when being over taken by a tycoon? I find it more of a curse than anything else! I can get decent transfer fees accepted! But then they ask stupid wages, Haris Vuckic is one, he is on £10K p/w when he got into talking about a contract with me he wanted £115K, I got him down but I pulled out as he wouldn't drop below £95K...... Kyle_123 Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 not after a tycoon takeover but, I tried to sign Royston Drenth for wolves and he wanted 100k a week after a 8th placed finish. Ended up at West Ham (who finished lower) on 40k a week. Same thing happened when i tried to sign Micha Richards wanted some ridiculous wages for me, and ended up again at a lower placed team on 20k.
