unrealistically hard again

every year since 07 the game has been unrealistically hard i have never once won promotion with any team or won any cup and usually find myself in the relegation zone it's ********

Maybe you're not putting the effort in.

Sounds funny, many people said FM 2011 was way too easy for them.

When I played as AFC Wimbledon I played a basic 4-4-2 with little tweaks and won promotions from BSP to PL in 4 seasons. Struggled a lot in PL then, but I did not find the game very difficult.

Not finding it hard or easy...just purely enjoyable!

I love hard games. They are the talk of the internet.

There is a greater feel of accomplishment when it is hard to achieve. No pain, no gain.

Im sure there are posts with people moaning the game was too easy. I would prefer it to be too hard than too easy as it is more challenging and will make me want to play it more.

Unrealistically hard? Football management isn't all that easy to be honest lol.

I've found it quite comfortable, I'm playing as Stoke expected to finish mid-table, in mid-table position. There's been some good performances and solid wins, but then some cruel defeats (Liverpool, Man City and Everton all scoring last minute goals to win) so the game isn't that difficult on the face of it, I'm just playing a simple 4-4-2 slightly adjusted from the default settings you can assign a player in a position.
