slipknot67 Posted September 29, 2011 Share Posted September 29, 2011 I got the SPL into the top ten ranked leagues in Europe in less than ten years, which isn't really all that long, so I'd say in the main it works. It's only stumbling block for me was the league prize money in some nations is fixed due to licensing reasons, so over time your wage bill inevitably increases with the influx of higher rep players, but your club's income generated being fixed means it can get very difficult to balance the books after a few seasons.
