Regenerated Players

Hello all,

I have a question about regens.

Is there some kind of logic behind regens? E.g. large competitions (England, Spain, etc) have more high quality regens then smaller competitions (Sweden, Croatia, etc).

And is there some sort of balance in the number players that are regenerated?

For example: based on stats there are 10 classes of players, Class 1 are the World's greatest and Class 10 are the worst of the worst.

At the beginning it is calculated wich player belongs in wich Class and based on those figures the number of players per class is kept somewhat steady.

Or is it more random.

And my final and most funny question: have you even seen such a ridicilous good regen:

He plays for Lyon and his stats are absolutely mad (except for his poor jumping).

There is some kind of logic behind NEWgens (regens was the right word to use back when players were actually re-generated, as true copies with new names). Not leagues but nations are important for player generation. Better players are generated in Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Germany, France and England than anywhere else. And more of them too. There are even templates in place to make sure Brazilians have lots of flair etc.

The game churns out a high number of new players every new season in every country, and there is an algorithm distributing their CA/PA figures so that there are only that many super-talents in terms of potential. Since attributes necessary for proper development is also randomized, the number of players with high potential that can actually become world-class players without successful tutoring is relatively small.

The thing determining attributes is CA (current ability), and it is distributed according to pre-set key attributes for each player position. The remaining attributes are randomized. Whenever CA is gained (through match experience and some other events), it is distributed into attributes via training. The key attributes of a position is rated higher and demands more CA to increase.

That is a VERY good striker yes. There are usually only a few of those around at a time.
