Chelsea need 2 managers??

I was nearing the end of the season in a recent game when struggling 12th placed chelsea offered me a job as manager with a clause to join them at the seasons end in about 7 games time. I normally stick with the team i pick at the start as i like to buy young regens and develop them for the first team but in this instance i thought what the hell Fm12 is out soon and i'll likely not play 11 again, so i took the job. A few game weeks later and chelsea appoint some other guy as their manager which i thought was strange since i had already signed a contract with them so i clicked on this dude ( I dont remember his name) and he had a 3 year contract!

Anyway i came to the end of the season and was appointed as manger and this guy was left out of a job but i didnt see anything about compensation going to him. Just thought this was weird and wondered if anything similar had happened to anybody else.
