European Competitions Transfers FM12

I was thinking if this was going to be addressed, IRL when a player is about to be transferred out a club the team normally don't play the players. Especially if the two clubs are involved are in European competitions. So I am sorting of hoping if I'm in the middle of a bid the AI don't field a player in a European game to make him illegible for my team. I know sometimes IRL that isn't the case, but more often than not the player is rested, or magically injured.
