tottenhamfmo7
I'm playing as Tottenham, just signed a striker from Seattle FC, his name is Fredy Montero aged 23. Player profile: http://i55.tinypic.com/29y2h75.png Player personal: http://i54.tinypic.com/n3sc7.png He can speak English and Spanish. Sent him straight to my feeder club in Belgium, will it really take 1092 days till he gains his permit? Or can I appeal again after some time for his work permit? Thanks in advance. tottenhamfmo7
Anyone answer my question please? I really want to get back to my FM game
atightropewalker
Depends.... If he plays for Colombia enough you can try offering him a new contract. If you get a message saying he accepts BUT WITHOUT the work permit rejection message then he is eligible to be registrered to play for you.

So by offering him a new contract is the only way to apply for a UK work permit for him?
atightropewalker
As far as I am aware... If you are worried about paying him more, I find they quite often happily settle for exactly the same contract without any signing-on fee.
tottenhamfmo7
Should I offer him a new contract in January? (when transfer window opens)? Or can I offer him a new contract anytime and they will consider his work permit application?
r0x0r
I'd wait at least a year before trying again. He failed first time round for a reason. His reputation and international experience won't climb that much in 6 months.
Sikker
You'll have to wait 4 seasons or until he may get a work permit. When he has spend 3 seasons in Belgium he has only been there for something like 1000 days. So you'll have to send him to Belgium for another full season as you can't send him away for just the pre season - or even half a season. Sending him to an affiliate means a full season away. I may be wrong though if it's possible to call back a player you have send to an affiliate (but I don't think that's possible).
r0x0r
As soon as he gets the work permit you can recall him. Loans to feeder clubs always have the ability to recall. THe only exception is if the transfer window is closed, some countries won't allow loan recalls.
