Scoring Goals

i was unemployed end of third season took gillingham job who have just been relegated and have really good strikers and i wud say bout 3 too good for this league. however, in my last 12 games ive had over 200 shots on goal only bout 80 on target scored bout 14, keep losing and am clueless of what to do to turn these into goals, i do for some reason have a lot of long shots have tried lots of tweaks on tactics but cannot seem to get to the bottom of the problem

You may have some good strikers, but they can't do anything without midfielders' support.

Try and concentrate on attacking down flanks, maybe the teams your playing against are playing with a deep back line so your strikers are not getting into the box

The 'Look for Overlap' in the touchline shouts list is a great way to overcome this I have found, your full backs create a 2v1 situation with their full back not knowing whether to stay or go and as you are playing lower down, the opposition team's defenders won't have great concentration and decision's stats so should work well.

However I would make a midfielder support instead of attack if you are going to bomb your full backs on, because you could get countered.
