Staying as a favourite after leaving

Any news on whether FM12 will allow you to become a club favourite and remain a club favourite upon leaving?

I think you can do this on FM11. Well you can stay on the Legend/ Icon list, not sure about staying on the favoured personnel list.

I left Bradford after 8 years, taking them from the Confrence to an established Premier League side. Then I started to get fed up(Chairman always accepting offers for my players.. etc) then an underachieving Liverpool approaced me, so I accepted.

Then when I left I got an inbox message from the Bradford board saying something like, They wanted to thank me and I've done wonders for the club, and after many years at Bradford, they don't blame me for moving on. (or something along them lines) and I'm still on the Icon list at Bradford.

At the moment it is rare for you to stay on the list after you leave. I would like this to be implemented because especially if you are moving out of the country you won't be vilified by the supporters of a club which you have built from nothing.

This has been in the game since 10.3

Its not done very well though, you can win the title with Rochdale 5 times and you will just be on the favoured personnel list, some player who plays 3 games a season will be listed as an icon.

Youd be a legend forever if that happened IRL.

It needs to be easier to move up the list for managers and for you to stay there even if you leave.
