mcleod_69_69_69
What is your buy of the season? The one player that made a difference to your season, did he win you promotion or save you from relegation. Mine has to be this guy, Just started a new game and I was in the playoffs in the first season, signed him in January and I gained automatic promotion final day of the season. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/531/screenshot20110904at115.png http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/531/screenshot20110904at115.png Also this guy came a very close second, http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/531/screenshot20110904at115.png http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/531/screenshot20110904at115.png So what is your buy of the season? ManUTactician247
Can I say 2 people, 2 strikers for my BSN Tamworth side, Stuart Fleetwood and a newgen Stuart Grice, they went on to score 40 goals between them, both free transfers BTW
Romanista1994
FM10's Aguero in the fourth season, scored and assisted plenty for my Roma team and has transformed James Rodriguez and Jonjo Shelvey into Driven monsters.
I<3AFC
Andre Schurrle for my Arsenal side. Turned us from 4th place challengers to title candidates
petauk
nolan roux for my celtic side, the guy has been amazing over the last four seasons. breaking all the goal scoring records
Tactic Master
FM08 Sergio Aguero for my Manchester City side, online game in a clan and was feared by all, scoring 30+ and assisting 20+ every season from an AMC position!
BarnsleyFan
Not sure really, Bought Leigh griffiths (Of Wolves) for 1.5 million with a league 1 club. Scored 20 goals and 5 assists in 20 games and my chairman sold him for 4.5 million in summer.
Dicko99
Joe Mckee for Boston Utd, got him on a free and he scored 25 goals and got 35 assists in the BSP
Chalky1989
An absolutely insane wonderkid(seriously, he was like messi at age 16, I've never seen anyone that good so young, who was released from Newells aged 16(I suspect because they wouldn't pay his wages. Managed to sign him on a free, he went straight into my first team at age 16, had an amazing first season(all comps, 24 goals, 28 assists) from AMC. Decent second season too. I'd have gladly paid 50 million for him. He was an Argie, but he took Spanish nationality and has 16 caps and 8 goals for Spain so far. He's a god. mimland
Had a newgen striker bought to Sampdoria for 800k, 228 league games and 209 league goals later he was sold for 57mill, I had already left at that time or I wouldn't had sold him. Kenco
Victor Valdes on a free for Leicester.
dirtyprettymagpie
Not especially original but Eden Hazard in the January transfer window in my first season with Newcastle United. I was lurking around just outside the top 6 when he came in and in 16 appearances scored 9 and managed 12 assists. His impact helped me finish 3rd (automatic Champions League spot) and only lost out to 2nd by 1 goal.

RichieVilla
ok im Real Madrid so maybe not the hardest signings i ever spotted but these 2 guys have been flippin awesome helping me to back to back titles and CL winner medal in my 2 seasons so far. Atletico was the dominant force in the league but i managed to wrestle back our first title in over 10 years, helped ofc by the 200m net spend i was allowed
heathxxx
For me it's probably Patrice Evra on a free transfer last season from Man Utd to my Granada CF side. Getting on a bit now, but he's still averaging 7.5+ match ratings and suits my team perfectly. Obviously paying nothing for him was a major bonus. His high natural fitness attribute should ensure that his other attributes don't decline quickly either. Providing he doesn't suddenly decide to retire, I can see him playing well into his late 30's in my side.
Play Up Pompey!
I signed a newgen called Mazinho for £2 million as a backup to my main strikers. His attributes rapidly increased and by the end of the season he is my first choice striker and he scores 5 goals in the Champions League final. lacoste8030
Well in my last save I went to 3 different clubs before my laptop buggered up and had to do system recovery. I started off with Napoli and my buy of my time there was Pablo Piatti, Then at Real Madrid it would be Victor Ruiz who i brought with me from Napoli, Then at Arsenal it Was Carlos Tevez. Magicz
When I was managing Forest I signed Jloyd Samuel for £1 million and he was a god in the championship!!! I needed to bring another left back in when we got promoted but still.
d_e4life
Miralem Pjanic for me I was expected to challenge for the title but was struggling a bit in 4th by January. I needed some creativity in the team as Sergio Canales was not doing enough for me... looked at a few players and settled on Pjanic. Got him for £20M, he contributed 15 assists between Jan-May and we came 1st
Roberto Larcos
Vincent Enyeama for me. You can buy him for around £280k, decent keeper, decent stats. If you're a small club & you need a good GK he will be a great GK & if you're a top team & he's not quite you're first choice GK he will be an excellant backup player. This dude is my buy of the season!
tom_numbers
Best buy of this season? Since I only made 3, it has to be Stilinovic. I have a front three system (CF, AMR, AML), and although my striker and left winger weighed in with a few goals last season, the lack of goals from the right impeded us a bit. Stilinovic has fixed that, and he's still uncomfortable playing there. He even took a £10k/week wage drop to sign for me
Things Could Get Messi
falcao for 7.5m when i was manager of ajax on fm10. one of the best poachers on the game and worth 20 goals a season plus he assists.
Vector
Well, with Villa, I bought Neymar at the age of 21 from Santos for €35mil. In his first season in the Premier, he already scored 21 goals + 6 more in the Champions League.
FootballSuperFan
Fabian Assmann for Banfield (Argentine Premier), lost Bologna to River, and got him on a free. 8 concessions in opening stage playing every minute.
Richey2008
Angel Di Maria in 2016 signed for $1m from Man City for Sampdoria sort of saved me single handedly from relegation.
