On Lion OSX i cannot install custom transfer updates!

I cannot install the custom transfer updates on my new computer that runs osx lion for some reason.

I looked up all the sports interactive and fm folders and made a "editor data" folder in those folders and it will not show up when i select the other databases button when i start a new game.

And when i look up the application support folder and there is no football manager folder there or SI folder so idk what I need to do? HELPPPPP!:confused::confused::confused::confused:

but seriously i need help!
