Should i compress save game or not??

i have tonns of space, would it improve speed of save and load if un-compressed?

Yes, it would improve save and load speed.

i thought compressing a save would actually extend loading speeds

if compressed is ticked then it doesn't take up so much space on your harddrive but it takes longer to load.

That's what I thought too. Sounds strange it both takes less space and is faster to load.

I think some are mistaken here. With compressed saves on, you save a lot of disk space but sacrifice load and save times quite a bit. Uncompressed means use of more disk space but much faster saving and loading.

Personally, I don't compress. Saving doesn't take so long for me really. But it's all a personal thing. If you find it takes too long, too often, then sure - go for it

Obviously, compressed saves take longer but take less space
