wallace90
Hey guys, new to the forums so be nice (signed up last year but never really posted much) I'v been a big fan of the FM series for a few years, started in 06 and gotten every release since. Was wondering how you watch your games? do you play it real time and watch your team in 3D? i normally just put it in quick time and make the games quick. But considering making a new season so i can watch the games. Jack
SCIAG
Watching in real time would be completely impractical for me. I usually watch extended highlights, sped up. I use the 3D camera angles on FM11, though I prefer to use 2D on FM09+10.
AcidBurn
I use 3d one notch off the full speed setting on key highlights, I also have replays for goals about 5 notches from top speed.
Fabio MVP
TV camera, extended highlights, default speed.
Pangaea
I'm on 10. 3D, Main stand, 3-4 clicks from full speed I reckon. Fast but not speedy gonzales fast.
furiousuk
3D, Main stand, extended highlights (occasionally full match if I really need to look at something). Quick enough so that I'm not waiting too long and slow enough so that I see what is going on.
Fabio MVP
I'm on 10.3D, Main stand, 3-4 clicks from full speed I reckon. Fast but not speedy gonzales fast. No you're not. On another note how can you guys watch matches on 'fast'? I always have it on default as I find it to be realistic and i can see everything in details. It's also not slow for me. It's fast enough. ArsenalFan7
2D classic, 2 clicks off full, no replays. Quite like the sound of Acidburn's setup though so you can see your goals.
Fabio MVP
I always turn off replays. Just click on a goal minute if I want to see the goal again.
ArsenalFan7
Yeah, I usually just drag it back on the slider and re watch it, I usually miss highlights/goals because I'm browsing forums etc.

stinger061
2D for me with the match speed just a little below full. I have no problems taking it all in at the quicker pace and 3D just doesn't really interest me.
helm123
3D, full game. A beer and screaming at the screen

tigerhgrrrrrr
Yeah, I usually just drag it back on the slider and re watch it, I usually miss highlights/goals because I'm browsing forums etc. Funny that, I miss meals and sleep because I am playing FM! Pangaea
No you're not. On another note how can you guys watch matches on 'fast'? I always have it on default as I find it to be realistic and i can see everything in details. It's also not slow for me. It's fast enough. I find matches too slow and time-consuming when I have it on default. Feels like the ball is is slow-motion. Have bumped it up to 3rd fastest now, and am quite happy with that. Faster looked too odd. I have replays on default speed though, so I can see the goals better if I missed something. albacete66
3D, TV View, Full Game, fast Speed (2-3 clicks to fastest), Replay Goals I don't understand how many people crying in forums about "i want the more realistic game" and only watch games in highlights or commentars. Do you really (in real life) knows if your team has played a good game only with that?
Erimus1876
No you're not. On another note how can you guys watch matches on 'fast'? I always have it on default as I find it to be realistic and i can see everything in details. It's also not slow for me. It's fast enough. Same here, I always watch it on normal speed with side view and key or extended highlights (full match if its a relegation or title decider, or a cup final). I could never watch it on fast speed because I like to see all the incidents; tackles, goals, chances, goal-mouth scrambles, good play and bad play etc - basically a football match. Anything faster than normal makes all that practically impossible for me keep up with, and thus enjoy. Plus I play with hidden attributes skin so its vital I watch my team (and other players) play in 3D as its the only way I can assess players ability. RBKalle
3D, TV camera, extended highlights, normal+1 speed, no replays. When playing useless pre-season friendlies, or when in the closing stages of one-sided matches I go full speed or I even go for Commentary Only... telV7
3D, behind corner camera, full match, normal+1 speed, replays TV camera
Cougar2010
3d, Main Stand (I think), extended highlights, normal speed, no replays. For me everything about the game is building to what happens on the pitch and people who holiday, use key highlights or even commentary only are missing a huge part of what makes this game good. dafuge
2D, full match for creating tactics. 3D, key highlights for enjoying watching matches. Just commentary for when I've had enough of watching matchs and want things to speed up.
oi_oi_ginger_roy
TV camera, extended highlights, default speed. Yup, this ^^
rancer890
TV camera, extended highlights, 2 clicks from the fastest speed. Replays are normal speed though, since I'm always browsing the forums and might miss some goals.
Anti Spiral
2d, fast
Guest Portosummaga11
2d classic, as fast as possible, for me. Much more enjoyable to play a season quickly, I find.
roganp
TV camera Extended highlights No replays Sometimes have in on only commentary.
Barkermush
After watching the FM12 preview video, I've turned the 3D off in disgust, as I'm not interested in playing with old fashioned 3D graphic's! [/joke] I play with 3D - sideline camera - extended highlights - with the match speed bar 1 notch up from the middle - no replays. When I start to get bored (if I've been playing FM for a while etc) I switch to key highlights with the match speed 2 notches up from the middle. . Keyzer Soze
3D Main Stand, with default speed Key Highlights Replays with default speed and touchline Camera
Sammy_CJ
3D TV camera Extended highlights 2 notches to the right. Replays for goals on default speed
Robert the Spud
3D, full match, 75% speed(well, it's not slow nor fast), no replays, always on the touchline, where a good manager should be.
jackripper
only commentary to speed the game up for me.
Gogotte
3D TV camera Extended highlights 2 notches to the right. I love 3D, not the 'graphism' but to clearly see how react the players to my instructions. I think it's clearer than with 2D

Siven
Yes i use the main stand camera in 3D view as its more fun watching that than the 2D view imo. I'm hoping the Director cam view for 2012 is even more like watching a match on TV.
Takamaru
I'd say nowadays it's pretty great to watch the matches in 3D, never play in any other way than watching 3D. The engine has made some great progression last few editions of the game.
Soccer
2D view - the little circles pinging the ball around looks lovely.
ManUTactician247
In short, I do watch 3D.
shwan
TV camera, extended highlights, default speed. same 4 me.. used to watch full time before .. but can't anymore waste that amount of time
TheInvisibleMan
2D TV view with 4 information panels in the corners. One notch above the middle on speed, key highlights and extended for big games. Replays on. Like to watch the games and see how my tactics are doing and also analyse them afterwards using the performance analysis tools in the game.
slipknot67
Commentary only for me, with the exception of cup finals which I view in 3d touchline camera mode 2 clicks off fastest - no replays.
TheGull8559
I always pick 4 teams from different leagues and watch all of my games even the friendlies on TV view with the speed just over half way. I have been using the director view in the FM12 demo and i love how the camera changes angles for corners and free kicks etc. shall be playing my seasons on this view from now on.
