Editing help

Hi all,

I have been playing FM for years now, but have recently decided that it would be fun to create my own team (if possible), and play as them just to really test how good a manager I am (or not)!!!

My question to you is this..... Where do I start??

The easiest way to do this is to take an existing team and edit the heck out of it.

If you make a whole new team, you'll need to swap it with an existing one if you want it to appear in the game as playable.

In any case, it's not that difficult. You have to have a city and stadium, and then you can easily make a new club entry that uses that city and stadium as its base.

Thanks for that, I don't tend to do much in the evenings except play FM so can take time to edit a team.

I'm guessing there is a file somewhere stored locally that holds all the relevant information?????

The database is in the my documents folder. You use the editor to do the changes.

Do a search in the forums on what to do and how to make sure your edited game is playable.
